I hate updates - just gets tiresome and much as I love what you guys do with SEO I curse every time an update comes along.

At least the 3.07 one doesn;t look as huge as the last round of updates to 3.06. DCZ you guys already working on the update packages?

Man I hear ya. Just in general, I hate updating phpbb3. I love the software, but damm, updating it is such a pain in the ass.

The 3.0.7 update package will be rolled out soon. You can always check the phpBB-SEO Code Forge to see what the team is currently working on.

Thank you very much for the heads up - yes I'm complaining cause it's a pain in the butt, but phpBB and phpBB SEO are excellent pieces of software. In a perfect world it would be great to have all the SEO stuff in the base package.

I have to hit not only the SEO mods but also the custom style mods too.

One suggestion, for pages to load faster, you could bring together all the javascript files, css files, etc in a single file.

Well, phpBB already serves all style css in one file, and it's not necessarily simple to go further than that. For the three extra css used to resize fonts, it would require another implementation of the feature itself for example.

Anyway : phpBB SEO premod 3.0.7 released!

It's all there : phpBB SEO premod 3.0.7 released!

You have three update packages, auto, changed files and patch file (which would be the closest to a manual update).

Though, I suggest you use the changed file package, you'll just have to merge it against your phpBB SEO 3.0.6 in case you modified it.

But the answer is no, though, the phpBB style update is good to use since there are not this much difference with phpBB SEO's and there will soon be an update procedure for the phpBB SEO code here : Prosilver / subsilver2 code changes

Quick question, I'm using the automated updater for the premod from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7. When it goes to scan the files for changes, what's the best solutions. To merge differences, or to use the new file?
