I have successfully installed PHPBB SEO Premod under -http://serv/forums and am using XAMPP but when i enable all the URL rewriting
I get Object not found! when i open a topic says "Error 404 Object not found!"
mod_rewrite is enabled, i have the .htaccess in root, cleared the cache when i enabled these seo in admincp
I'm not sure what i should do could i have some help please?

Also what are the seo options to choose so i can get the rewrite like phpbb-seo urls.
Mine just show the topic title with the SID even though i enabled the sidremove
e.g. Title: Google URL: google-f10.html?sid=9cdde0e408fb60d593104544a39a5095

Make sure about your phpBB Server and Cookie settings and generate new .htaccess and put it where the red message tells you to and NOT anywhere else.

Ok, i must have overwritten the default .htaccess the the forums older but it works now

Have you tried the advanced mode with virtual folder ?
