I have already a forum running perfectly. Its standard phpbb 3.07 PL1 GERMAN version.
I want to optimize it for the search engines. I am not very experienced with coding (halfway a newbie I d say).

Is it possible for me to:

1) Install seo phpbb premodded EASILY without professional skills?
2) Keeping german as the standard language for my german forum?

These are my goals.

Could you tell me how to achieve them in the most efficient way?`Remember, I am not experienced and kind of a phpbb newbie.

Isn't it possible for me to just use my running phpbb version? Do I have to start new? With no posts and no members?

How can I updated from normal phpbb to phpbb SEO without loosing any data and as easy as possible? Keeping german language?

Du solltest dir die Update-Pakete runterladen (http://downloads.phpbb-seo.com/phpbb-seo-toolkit-11/) und dann Schritt für Schritt die entsprechenden Umbauten machen. Die Installanleitungen sind auch für Anfänger geeignet.

Die deutsche Sprache bleibt grö0tenteils erhalten - lediglich die speziellen Texte vom Update sind dann eben in english. Das betrifft aber zum allergrößten Teil ohnehin nur das ACP, wo es eher zu verschmerzen ist.

Ein Komplettwechsel zum SEO phpBB geht auch - aber da müssten dir dann andere helfen .. das ist bei mir zu lange her - ich konnte damals auch alle Beiträge etc. einfach so übernehmen.

Allerdings funktioniert das nur wirklich, wenn die jetzt eine ungemoddete Version einsetzt.
