WHen I try to set all the settings here: phpBB SEO Class settings - I click the submit button it says the cache was updated but when I refresh that settings page, all the settings are back to normal why? Like if I click to activate rewrite I click submit it says cache updated but then if I go back to the settings activate url writing it's set to no.

I uploaded the htaccess file too, I made some changes to it like the other thread on IIS and uploaded to root dir, but the url writing isn't working - my forum is the same as it was before... I don't know how to activate the writing.

Try the generated .htaccess, it should work as is, or with some extra slashes (more options option) combos.

i used the htaccess linked in my previous post in the root but the rewrite does absolutely nothing... forum hasn't changed

I did the same process as suggested in [HOW TO] Install the phpBB SEO premod on phpBB. However, when I log into the Admin Control Panel, I cannot view the phpBB SEO ACP module to change the settings or generate the .htaccess file.

When I try again to activate it through example.com/phpBB/phpbb_seo/phpbb_seo_install.php while logged in as admin and founder, and try to install it, It says that the module is already installed!

Please help.

Issue resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling it.
