Blogomunity's p8pBB bridge and Ultimate SEO

Postby BrainDed » Wed May 11, 2011 6:46 pm

I'm using this bridge on my joomla site running a phpbb3 board, The blogomunity joomla mod has modified my htaccess file with some rewrites.

Will I need to comment this out? What about the Joomla SEF rewrites?

Since your .htaccess contains some rewriterules for phpBB, I assume that the bridge is some how performing some ulr rewriting for phpBB and this will most likely conflict with our url rewriting.

If you can deactivate the bridge's url rewriting, try to do so, and for the rest of joomla's rewriting, if you have to put phpBB SEO's rewriterules in the same .htaccess, then put joomla's at the very bottom.
