sorry this is probably an often asked question - I want to update from a fairly downlevel version. I don't at this stage care if SEO & URL rewriting will change, if it's simplest I'm happy to backup the forum, delete, clean install - and then restore the backup if it'll work.

If there's a simpler way please let me know, I'd like to do this sooner than later.
