memberlist.php - first_char issue

Postby lund » Mon Jun 03, 2013 10:18 am

Hi all,

First I have to mention that I changed the extension to ".fu" trough rewrite.

In my memberlist.php, when selecting a letter, the URL is changed to "/memberlist.php?first_char=a" and for some reason, I get a 404 error when "first_char" is set.
Everything else in memberlist.php is working as it should.

Any tips?

Regards.

So I've found the location of the problem but don't know if it's a problem in the code or if it's something else.

In the memberlist_body.html file, each letter's code is looking like this:
Code: Select all
<a href="{S_MODE_ACTION}&amp;first_char=a#memberlist">A</a>

When clicking the link, you are sent to: http://domain.com/memberlist.php&first_char=a
That will of cause not work as "?" indicates the start of arguments passed.

If I change each letter's code to this, it works but will mess up the URL if clicking on another letter:
Code: Select all
<a href="{S_MODE_ACTION}?first_char=a#memberlist">A</a>

How to solve this?

Regards.
