Activate SQL Rewriting: mysql error. + questions!! ^^

Postby thatgamesguy » Sun Feb 02, 2014 2:49 am

I am getting an error when I activate "Activate SQL Rewriting:" I'm using MySQL version:5.0, and I tried changing topic_url to null in the database and it didn't fix as someone suggested before.

Code: Select all
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Incorrect integer value: 'secret-forum/topic' for column 'topic_url' at row 1 [1366]

SQL

UPDATE phpbb_topics SET topic_url = 'secret-forum/topic' WHERE topic_id = 28239

BACKTRACE

FILE: (not given by php)
LINE: (not given by php)
CALL: msg_handler()

FILE: [ROOT]/includes/db/dbal.php
LINE: 757
CALL: trigger_error()

FILE: [ROOT]/includes/db/mysqli.php
LINE: 189
CALL: dbal->sql_error()

FILE: [ROOT]/viewtopic.php
LINE: 412
CALL: dbal_mysqli->sql_query()

Question2
I'm not sure how to implement the robot file,
Code: Select all
In case you are migrating from a previous unrewritten phpBB version, wait couple month after you activate the zero duplicate mod before you implement the robots.txt. In such case we want to redirect first and then drop useless content.

I realize I'm supposed to wait two months first after migrating, is there a way to generate this file?

Also my board has a homepage with wordpress articles, should I use two robot files? http://www.hiddenbelow.com

It sounds like the data type of the column topic_url is wrong; it should be a VARCHAR and it appears yours is INT or some other numeric only format. I've posted this before, but maybe you should set up a local server using xampp so you can debug this in isolation. For example, install XAMPP, install the phpBB-SEO premod (in a separate database), and compare what you see in the XAMPP test server with your "other" server.
