Not removing sid

Postby Lester » Tue Aug 19, 2008 11:43 pm

Hi there,

I have installed this modification, but I still have SIDs in url for anonym users... I have fixed it by this in function append_sid:
Code: Select all
if ( !empty($SID) && !preg_match('#sid=#', $url) && $userdata['session_logged_in'] )

but now I can't access ACP... Can somebody help me to fix it?

Thank you
Lester

This is normal, and there is absolutely no need to go further than our SEO mod with SID removing.

I dont think, that URLs like -http://mydomain/informations-f9.html?sid=ee1e0074c2fb34a94792c0c23de29d01 are optimal for google...

Well yes, but only if google sees them, and it's not the case. Besides, the zero duplicate will HTTP 301 redirect these for guest (thus bots), so, it's really not an issue, believe me SID are dealt with with our SEO mods.
