Hello everyone, and first off this is an amazing looking PHP mod and I am very excited to have found it. I would like to transition my current forum to include this mod so I first tested this on a seperate domain which had a pretty much blank forum with a few posts. I used the premod file and overwrote all my directories except for the .htacces file and config.php as they instructed. I ran through the install steps and successfully got into the ACP for the re-writer. I selected advanced and turned on URL re-writing. I used the .htaccess creator and copied that into the /forum/ folder which is what the phpbb is hosted in. I cleared my style cache and phpbb cache and checked the site. the links all re-wrote nicely but if I click any, I receive a 404 error. Looking for insight, sorry I can't really give many more details at this time, but let me know.

Also another thing to note which may be my whole issue is that the install instructions have steps that tell you to

and that type of thing. I havent been able to find ANY of those codes to FIND in the php files it tells me to look in. Am I way lost?

It is possible that you are trying to install the phpBB2 mod over phpBB3.

Please make sure about that.

About the .htaccess, in both cases (phpBB2 & 3), the default one is meant for the domain's root, you need to alter it (can be done automatically with the phpBB3 mod's .htaccess generator) to put it in a sub folder.
