About phpBB3, nothing will be released before it turns RC, and yes, we're testing script, with pretty good results I must say, on the last Beta, but we'll follow phpBB.com on this, as only the first RC will be supported for updates.

About mk portal, we'll see after phpBB3RC1, it should not be that much of a deal to mod ;)

I saw an URL rewriting mod on phpbbmodders.net, but was not convinced.

Beside, our own is already being successfully tested by the phpBB SEO team. We decided to make it available when phpBB3 turns RC, because it's pretty much pointless to go online before the first RC and thus to install SEO mods.

You must know the converter was bugged in B5 and that no support will be offered by phpBB.com for conversions prior to RC1.

All I can say is what was already said, and that we'll offer the same level as per phpBB2, GYM sitemaps, zero dupe etc ...

Anyway, feel free to share your links, could still be knowledgeable to see what others are doing.

Don't worry, the zero dupe will make the transition really harmless, you can start with vanilla url if you really want to take the risk to start working on a version that won't be supported for the next update.

Ok I didn't understood much from your message (my english is terrible:( ). I will wait for phpBB3 to turn RC. At least a SEO Hack for MKPortal (next to phpBB3 if counts) can you make? :)

Hope i didn't ask you for much.

All I said is :
1) the zero duplicate will allow you to http 301 redirect the un-rewritten urls, so it's not that big much of a deal to go online before we release it,
2) phpBB3 Beta5 had a bug in the import script and, as announced at phpBB.com, won't be supported for updates to the first RC (which is the main reason why we do not encourage anyone to start from B5 and do not release anything for it here).
