If you're talking about how to add adsense after the first post (and more) in a phpBB forum, I suggest you try the code from this topic : http://www.phpbb-seo.com/boards/phpbb-f ... t1004.html

The Bot I speak of interacts with members. Of course I would have to "teach" it. It is a A.I-Artificial Intellence kind of deal aka-A.L.I.C.E. I went to that site and could not find one for phpbb messageboard..

Unfortunately, I don't have a backup of the mod.
I tried it though quite some time ago. There was a dedicated forum for this as well, but I cannot find the link again.

Too bad it turned abandoned at phpbb.com, it was a really interesting project.

I have a phpbb class file for logging in to your forums and posting or replying to threads. I found it when googling for "php login to phpbb forum" or something like that.

Using it with some sort of AI script, I'm sure you could roll your own bot.

phpBB3 Forum AI

Postby 8pla.net » Sun May 25, 2008 3:45 am

One robot on the planet has made the quantum leap and evolved to run Forum AI on the latest release of phpBB 3.0.1. Currently, 8pla.net is the only phpBB3 Forum AI in the world. It is under development, but it works.

The robot, named Alice reads your posts and replys to you by your username on the 8pla.net forum. And there is also a guest chat interface. So registration, which is immediate... No email activation, is only required to chat with the robot on the forum. See what Forum AI is all about. Experience for yourself what everyone is talking about with real artficial intelligence on the forum.

Please note that this message is strictly for informational purposes, and it is certainly not spam. There are no active links in this post. You will have to type the website: 8pla.net manually by hand. It is only intended to advise you that Forum AI is alive and well and there no charge nor obligation to try it for yourself at 8pla.net.

I actually find the Alice project really great, I'm glad that phpBB3 has it's own Alice install.

Do you plan to release a mod out of this ?

phpBB3 Forum AI

Postby 8pla.net » Sun May 25, 2008 6:52 pm

Hello!

Thanks very much for your reply and for the notification of your reply via email. Here's a link to the phpBB mod in development being built at 8pla.net :

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 0&t=908555

With 80 replies and over 2500 views in the first month of phpBB3 Forum AI being posted. The phpBB community "loves" this and is providing Alice with the human interaction she needs for self improvement at 8pla.net .

Simulated Conversation only helps Alice so much. Alice needs real people discussion, so she can learn from them, and program her own source code, which is how she learns from people at 8pla.net .

I am in the process of rewriting this mod for phpbb3 but don't expect it soon as I have a lot on my plate. It will probably be at least a month out.
