I'm sorry my mistake.
I am realy looking forward to the following:
Create a (google) sitemap from my entire website. All topics 50.000+ should be indexed in sytemaps so that I can add them to google. That's the main feature I need.

Also I have one question:

Could you please see this link:
http://www.google.nl/search?hl=nl&q=helpmij&meta=
This is an example of a website, the website first shown: Helpmij.nl has some extra's. I made them bold in the quote below. How can I get these extra links on my own website into google?

Helpmij.nlGratis helpdesk. Woordenlijst en mogelijkheid te abonneren op een nieuwsbrief.

Well, the mx Google sitemaps is already doing a great job ;)

It's able to list up to 5000 topics per forums with no problem and should even be able to go further than that.

And in most case, it's not very useful to list more than 1 or 2 thousands of URLs per forums, as the list are sorted by last post, you get the last 1 or two thousands active topic for each forums, which is usually going to dig out some very very old threads.
Listing more URLs than that can only be useful if your forum is not indexed at all and already has more topics per forum than that. To make it crawled properly.
But, in this case, you can still change the order in ACP to show oldest threads first for a while (one or two weeks) and make sure Google knows about those, before you go back to normal and list the most recently answered topics.

Actually, I think it could be useful if you'd at least test the mx Google sitemaps module, to understand a bit it's principles. Will help out to manage the new one's huge ACP :D

For your second and off topic question, we started talking about this here ;)

I have just installed the mx Google Sitemaps V 1.0.1. and submitted my sitemap to google, now I will have to wait :)

I also found an answer for my question on the link you gave to another topic.

One thing I don't understand is what will your new mod do better or different?

Thank you!

Very simple, it's adding RSS feeds, Yahoo! Urllist.txt, Gun-zip support, cache XSLTransfrom and much more.

It's thus faster to do more things. And this will allow us to massively link to our sitemaps, in order to make sure all bots do find and use them, which would have been a bit more problematic, as far as server load without cache (at least above 2 or 3 thousand URL listed).

Oke!

I just submitted my sitemap to the new Yahoo Site Explorer beta
http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ and there you have to sign in and do your thing..

I have read this topic:
http://www.phpbb-seo.com/boards/seo-pri ... vt374.html

I haven’t found where to submit my sitemap to Live Search (www.live.com)
It's still not available to submit sitemaps to Live Search?

Thank you.

It should, using the ping method, but it does not seem to be working yet.

Is there anything we can do to help test this?

Thanks for proposing.

Actually, I am about to start the phpBB SEO team recruiting, many changes are about to be done here.

So there will be a team testing phase quickly followed by a beta release.

The mod rewrite update needed to be done, which is mostly the case : -http://phpbbdev.phpbb-seo.net/ ;)

So it should not be long until the community will be encouraged to participate a bit more in the phpBB SEO project.

you got it

And you see, the most motivated joined to make it a bit faster, but the xmas thing does not help out much here.

Anyway, we are currently going trough the last bug fixes.

The main question is will this be a 2006 or a 2007 mod, in all cases, the release never was this close :D

Would that be a beta mod or a final release ?

Sometimes the wording is not so important, you have to look at the features.
for example, Gmail is still beta

As far as what i've tested, i wouldn't qualify the upcoming mod as a beta one. Maybe it will still be labelled as "beta" but in fact it will be much more than beta.
