show user's rank problem

Hello
I've an issue with ranking in phpbb3
I'm trying to add a new rank and I've uploaded an image to the rank folder under images directory under the root of the phpBB3
Now when I add any new rank and open the image drop down link I found this drop down menu is totally empty while I've already added an image

So please advise any reason why the image I've uploaded does not exist?

mmm, you do add the images in images/ranks/ ?

What type of images ?
