don't get any style

Postby kigoobe » Thu Jan 24, 2008 2:14 pm

First of all, a big thanks to all of you guy who are developing such wonderful mods and giving us free of cost. I understand the time and energy you are devoting behind this, and deserve well a big applause for that :D

Now, the problem.

Here I am => http://www.indiansinfrance.com/sitemap.php

FF tells me =>
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

sitemap.php and ggs_style/ are installed at public_html/ whereas the rest are installed at public_html/forum/

What I am doing wrong here.

Thanks for any help :)
Best

You're welcome ;)

Have you activated styling in the acp and cleared the GYM sitemaps cache to see the new setting in action ?

The message you get is the regular one for when you load an Google sitemap without style in FF, if there was an xsl style link in the source, it would either work or totally fail if for example the xsl file was not in the right place.

Hi dcz, thanks a lot for your reply.

Yes, I have activated the styling going to the ACP ... so, the first page is loading as it should as seen here. However, when I click a link, all what I see is a blank page.

I found later that the problem is related to the URL Rewriting of general settings (ACP). If I set this to no, it works but I don't get the url rewriting function that I've installed earlier (mixed mode). However, if I set this to yes, url rewriting works, but I don't get the right links. I get wrong links, and hence get blank page on click.

Any help here please?
Thanks again.

Well http://www.indiansinfrance.com/sitemap.php?forum=51 is working.

So, I'm not sure to fully get the issue here, maybe you just need to properly implement the GYM sitemaps rewriterules in your .htaccess to be able to use the rewrittent sitemaps links (the forum ones are, as you can see, already properly rewritten).
