Hello

I just installed a MOD for SEO friendly URL (Rewrite), it works fine

I will be very thank full if some1 could help me to add an hyphen between url Words

Currently my URL looks like :P

http://www.mobilemastee.com/mobile_foru ... te-t2.html

It should be like :twisted:

And Welcome :D

Hum, this is what is supposed to happen with the phpBB advanced mod rewrite, hyphens should be used as separator.

Check if you are using the original format_url (in include/function.php) code, and eventually post your code for it here.

Then, I see that you installed the dynamic meta keywords mod, but you forgot to fill the default settings in the mod's code :

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Style-Type" content="text/css">
<meta name="title" content="Index" />
<meta name="keywords" content="YOUR_DEFAULT_KEYWORDS_COMA_SEPARATED" />
<meta name="description" lang="fr" content="YOUR_DEFAUT_DESCRITPION" />
<meta name="category" content="general" />
<meta name="robots" content="index, follow" />

Are you using a special char-set while posting ?

As well, don't forget the final touch ;)

Well, as I told you, hyphens should show up, I am not sure what could cause this to happen on your board.

Actually I cannot guess without more information's.

First make sure you installed the mod correctly, then, as said, make a double check on the format_url function in session.php, where the hyphens should replace spaces.

The problem is here, no one ever had this particular problem, even using UTF-8. This could still be linked to a char-set issue, but you do not seem to use any fancy standards here.

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

Ho, but I just understood you are not using a phpBB SEO mod rewrite, then It's normal :lol: just uninstall the script you where using and install the phpBB SEO advanced mod rewrite instead, it will do the trick you want ;)

Sorry I was really wondering what could cause hyphens not to be injected as there is no reason why it could, it's just not my mod lol
