301 Redirect and Rewrite Help Please

Discussions and support about the different URL Rewriting techniques for phpBB2.

well, if really necessary, we could set up a rewriterule per type (vt, vc, vf) but this would mean adding three unnecessary lines of code in a file called upon each hit on the server.

I don't know why this does not work as his on your server as it does on mine, must be some server settings.

phpBB SEO is a good place to learn things about Search Engine Optimization ;)

Yea, given the search results, I don't think there is a reason to do that.

It might have something to do with my .htaccess file. It is very big and scary (really it is huge).
