Hi, I use simple subforums and after I installed the main rewrite advanced mod (without installing subforum rewrite mod) it appears to rewrite subforums correctly because I can access them via links on the home page.

I hear that the Simple Sub Forum phpBB SEO mod Rewrite mod is needed, but what does it do that isn't already being done? dcz said "It is required to activate url rewriting on the sub forums urls", but as I said sub forums seem to be working like any other forums even without installing this mod. Is there something happening behind the scenes that makes installing this mod necessary?

Please let me know if it's something I should do and what it will do.

Most of the rewriting will be taken into account without further changes, but in mixed and advanced mode, there are some hedge cases where some modding is necessary, the mod is very very simple to install, so I suggest you uses it still
