Some suggestions

Hi,

I noticed the next and previous topics links are gone when not logged in. Wouldn't these help the search engines index the forum?

There is a way to add it because I did it myself some time ago in my forum. Basically, the link to the current topic and the view=previous or view=next parameters (or mod rewrite version) is still there, but I changed the viewtopic.php so that it finds and redirects (301) to the actual URL's of the next and previous topics without those parameters so there are no duplicates. Do you think this would be a good thing to keep?

Something like i did here?

I think that's a fine way (it has the next and previous topic names in the link).

Actually, now that the http 301 redirection is installed, they would. But it's not like they are the best ones, because you'd need two sql to have the correct title injected and even redirected, they still does not make a lot of sens.

Have you taken a look to this post ?

With pagination handling for both post and topics :

Will be the same for categories and forums, so you can proceed trustfully, even if a script kiddie would start now playing posting bad links to jeopardise your page-ranking, it will be SEO for you ;)

Thanks :D

You'll like even more to see the solution does not add much code.

And the really cool thing is this will allow us to moderate topic titles when using the phpBB SEO advanced mod rewrite :D

Soon to come ;)
