Which MODS are best to start with for better SEO

Postby bzone » Sat Jan 20, 2007 2:36 am

I am new to the topic of phpBB SEO. I manage a forum using phpBB.

I have been doing a lot of searching with marginal luck. What MODS are best to start out with for SEO. I would like my forum to 1) display the forum topic in the page title 2) possibly rename the URL to include the forum topic vs the topic number. I assume both of these techniques help with SEO.

What MODS are best to start with and where might I find them?

Thank you!!

And welcome :D

So you can start with reading this, but my advice is to wait few days until we release a major update of all phpBB SEO mods.

You'll save works and the new method will allow you to fine tune your URLs, as every part of the url will be configurable : separators ("-"), delimiters ("-vt" etc ), static parts ("member" etc ) and suffixes (".html") in one place.
