I'm install Simple mod rewrite on my board, but i have a problem:

I try to login into ACP but can't and "online users" on board footer can't update or update slowly

Make sure your phpBB config is set properly for server name, script path and cookie domain.

If your domain is -www.example.com and phpBB is installed in phpBB/ it should be :

cookie domain : .example.com

I have the same issue. I installed the MOD and had to change the sever and cookie setting as per phpBB Server and Cookie settings

It was rewriting URLs OK but adding in the folder name twice i.e. mysite.co.uk/forum/forum/topic

I went away and came back and now I cant login. I tried uploading a cookie script to the forum root and changing my server and cookie settting back but it didnt help, also tried deleting the MOD elements in my root .htaccess and didnt help.

I can see my board index login page but just cant login. It doesnt return an error but just takes me back to the login page?

Can anyone help me?

Why is it you always find the answer after posting in a forum?

I've got access now, I used FTP to clear the forum's cache and it let me in.

Well, it did take you an additional 13 minutes to figure it out.
I've made the same mistake myself...
