Rewrite changes domain

Postby kmklr72 » Thu Mar 05, 2009 12:56 am

Well here is the basic info on my problem. I'm running my site on hosting I'm using for a few different sites. The problem is, my domain is pointing to a sub-directory and when I activate rewriting, it uses the root domain instead of the one I'm using. I'm a fairly competent PHP coder but I'm not so keen on htaccess. I hope you guys can help me because I would really like to use this mod. Thanks for any help in advance.

Regards,

@kmklr72
It looks like your server config in acp does not reflect where phpBB is indeed installed, make sure you have the proper domain and script path and then generate and implement a new .htaccess.

@userkiller
the matter is not related, but checking config may help in your case too ;)
