Hi all, looks like an interesting forum. Thanks for your efforts, I think I'll find them useful.

ps Is the link in my sig acceptable or should I remove it?

And Welcome ;)

No it's ok for now if you keep it, actually, I already added more strict rules in the forum TOS, but it's really meant for genuine spammers.

I really want to give back the best possible backlinks from here to true users, and since it's the beginning I did not activated any sig control so far, but once we'll be more here, I may start to ask new user to wait a bit before they can use sig.

I think though I'll lower the minimum post number required and this will be fully automatic ;)

Ahoy, all; I stumbled upon this site, and have found it to be fairly neat-looking.

It seems to be mostly dead, though; there seems to be virtually no activity, unfortunately.

I'm also curious about how the site is financed: It's free, and it doesn't seem to have any ads, so how're you paying for it? Out-of-pocket?

And Welcome :D

Mostly dead, you're being rude to us ;)

28 message / day, new user daily, not dead, just growing ;) : http://www.phpbb-seo.com/forums-statistics.php

I am sure you'll soon find interesting things here.

And yes, adds will be used in the near future, I just wanted the web site to host some content before I implement them, which now have become the case, just need some time, but I am not on a rush for this matter.

Anyway, I hope you'll be with us to stay alive :D

Ah, but that's an average; you might have had a lot of messages per day at one point, but that doesn't mean you've got lots now. :P

Anywho, I've poked around, and it looks like you've got some pretty interesting stuff; maybe I'll hang around. :)

hehe,
actually, the average is under the truth. The creation date is 40 days younger than the public access to the web site.

But, this is not really the point, this project is still young, yes, but there are already some very interesting things, and things will even get more attractive when I'll start recruiting the phpBB SEO Team.

We're still beta, but pretty close to RC ;)
Everything is here already available to best SEO your phpBB Forum, will be for more in the future.

And I'll be happy if you hang around a bit with us :D

Hello,

I am new here. I have been meaning to join for about a month now  i.e. since I started my site.

I seriously, and I mean seriously need help.

I have read more about seo optimization in one month than I studied in four years in college  And now everything is  in my mind.

I hope you will be patient with me and help a "demoiselle en détresse" :(

Well, Id just like to give a personal thank you to everyone here at phpbb-seo.

I just finished installing the mod for phpBB3RC5, and everything worked great and was a very easy install. Only thing Id like to suggest is ModX format next time :P

Anyway, thanks for the mod. Ive already submitted my site to a few search engines and I hope the results are good.

Welcome I_H_M_U_N :D

Glad you like it ;)

About modx, we'll go for it when the converters will be fully ready for phpBB3.
