Really, its was too heavy of a MOD for what it says it does, IMO You can help block bad bots other ways.

It might be best to wait for MM to update his template... since he is going to upgrade it to RC8, and the SEO MODs are not ready for RC8 just yet. soon for sure.

Yup, you delete it you execute it from your phpbb directory. You always want to delete any kind of installation scripits after your done.

Well that makes two of us :) It's worth the wait I say... gotta dig this MOD... I've truned mine into a poetry submitting module. Even re named the files to poem.php, view_poem.php, etc :wink:

I've never had a problem with using it and I just tested your SQL line on my test board before I replied and it went though with no problems.

create a backup of your database in your admin control panel just incase.

hm, CTracker gave me the same issue with topics_anywhere.php back when I tried it ( none seo version ). I suppose your best bet would be to ask at phpbbsecurity's support site. sorry about that.

Sounds like something more to do with your hosting company or whoever runs your forum. Nothing in the topics anywhere MOD evokes that message.
