Re: Change index title?

For future reference my problem was fixed by updating my en-us language pack's common.php with the code from the en language pack's common.php as detailed here.

Re: "You must activate SQL Rewriting to use this script" BUT

That was the problem. I'm using the en-us language pack as default. When I imported the code you pointed out from the en language pack into the en-us language pack's common.php, it fixed the problems. Thanks!

Re: "You must activate SQL Rewriting to use this script" BUT

Yes, it's the same in prosilver, and yes, I've made all the changes to eTech that were required of subsilver2 (eTech being based on subsilver2).

Re: "You must activate SQL Rewriting to use this script" BUT

Thanks, Stephen. FYI, I don't have this problem anymore after installing premod 3.0.10, but now I have the problem described in the Jan. 20, 2012 post to this thread : My Administrator Control Panel > PHPBB SEO tab > Extended config page is missing the Page titles section (and perhaps other sections...

Re: Change index title?

Thanks for all the advice. I went through and updated the eTech style template files as you suggested, so that they now are in conformance with the subsilver2 mods. However, I'm still a little concerned that my Administrator Control Panel > PHPBB SEO tab > Extended config page is missing the Page ti...

Change index title?

My phpBB site ( IPtalk.pro ) currently displays as the title of its index page "IPtalk.pro - IPtalk.pro". I would like it to read "IPtalk.pro - the intellectual property message board". Is this possible, and if so, what do I need to do to change it? I'm running the latest premod.

Report: activating RegEx Right Slash has no effect, and activating RegEx Left Slash has the effect of 404-ing either of the links.

Well, I can see .htaccess files in other directories, where they appear slightly grayed, so I don't think that's the problem. (I'm using WinSCP as my client.)
