Re: new server problem

HB wrote:No, I don't. Have you verified the files even exist? Everything you've reported to-date says they don't,

I’ve checked the phpbb_attachments table in the database (attachment ID –> physical filename).
The non-working attachments are simply not in the /files/ folder.

Re: new server problem

All the files have been copied over 100 percent as per instruction from old server to new. The domain name remains the same. All files are in place, a complete copy. Maybe the image / attachment files have been damaged by transferring them the wrong way via an FTP program (ASCII instead of binary)....

Re: mixed URL rewriting not working anymore

This might work: Administration Control Panel -> phpBB SEO -> .htaccess -> Scroll down -> More Options: Yes -> Submit -> Scroll down again -> .htaccess location: Put the .htaccess in the phpBB folder ? -> Yes -> Submit. Now copy and paste the generated code in the .htaccess file in your phpBB folder...

Re: moved forum from subdomain to main domain subfolder

You can try to put the .htaccess file into the /forum/ folder. ACP -> phpBB SEO -> .htaccess -> Scroll down -> Advanced Options -> More Options: Yes -> Submit -> Scroll down again -> .htaccess location: Put the .htaccess in the phpBB folder? -> Yes -> Submit -> Select all and e.g. copy to Clipboard ...

Clear board cache (delete everything in the /cache/ folder [NOT /phpbb_seo/cache/] except for .htaccess and index.htm Should I make these phpbb changes manually? Or should the plugin do this? Re: Forum url are not change.

Activate URL rewriting in phpBB ACP.
Activating the Zero duplicate is wise at this point.

Re: Rewriting forum URL works, Topic URL NOT

That's normal in mixed mode. With URL rewriting type -> Advanced topic titles will show up in the URLs.

Re: Just a question

The phpBB SEO Premod V 3.0.11 has already everthing included that Ultimate SEO URL offers (and more).

So if you want to install a new forum use the PreMod. If you already have a phpBB forum with quite some mods use Ultimate SEO URL.

Re: PHPBB MOD VERSION

Then I got a MOD that I like. But I am concerned if it will work with the latest version of PHPBB. How can I tell? Try it out on a test forum or local via XAMPP first. I noticed in the documentation that came with the MOD, it mentions the "template" folder, but I have a "styles"...
