Re: [gallery] New version of SEO URL phpBB Gallery?

Version 1.0.4 of the gallery mod was just released. It looks like it is mainly a bug fix release. Doesthis new version require any changes to the SEO Gallery mod?

Re: download problems

If you are using IE8 then try a different browser. For some reason the downloads don't work in IE8 for me, but in Firefox they do.

Re: Question on Zero duplicate

Corey wrote:I have just installed phpBB_SEO_Ultimate_SEO_URLV0-6-0

Do I need to install Zero Duplicate or does it come with it?

If you just downloaded the mod and aren't using the phpBB-seo premod then you need to download zero dupe and install it manually. You can get it from the downloads section.

Re: suggesting to creat a support group

This sounds like a good idea to me, but obviously it's ultimately up to the phpBB-SEO team. Perhaps a support group could also help handle the spam we've been seeing around here lately.

RDFa and search engines

I was wondering if anyone here has looked into RDFa. I believe it has a lot of potential to increase traffic to your websites. If you don't know what RDFa is then you can check out this wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RDFa Yahoo has been using RDFa for a little while now to show enha...

Re: [SEO URL] Board3 portal

I don't think version 1.0.4 changed anything that warrants an update to the SEO mods. It should work fine with the edits in this thread.

Re: Please Help!

There is a decent amount of work that has to go into integrating your forum into your website's layout. I would suggest you search over at phpbb.com as there are many helpful threads there on integrating phpbb into websites.

Re: Some parts of my forum isnt seo'd

We need a bit more information. What version of the SEO mod are you using and in what mode? What version is your phpBB? Specifically what parts of your forum aren't "SEO'd"?

Re: Highslide Attachment Mod

Are you using attachment url rewriting? If so, you could try disabling it in your ACP momentarily, then see if the highslide mod works.

Re: Still having trouble after a couple days trying.

Again, to clear things up, I am no longer getting 404's on the test urls. The .htaccess is in my /phpbb/ folder where it's always been. Have you enabled url rewriting in there? Yes and submitted it several times while testing. Do you have the "virtual root" option enabled? I didn't but wi...

Re: Still having trouble after a couple days trying.

Still having no luck. The only advanced option I'm using in the .htaccess panel is the last one that puts it in the /phpbb/ folder which is where I normally have it. Every other variant just gives a 404. I can get the test pages to show up but still can't grasp the concept of when I should normally...

Re: Still having trouble after a couple days trying.

Well since your urls are working manually it shouldn't be an issue with your .htaccess file. Have you gone into the Forum URL Management module in the ACP? All of the urls in there should be green. If they are not then make sure you customize them the way you want and then submit your changes. Also ...

Feature Request - Subscriber Stats

I was wondering if the developers would consider incorporating subscriber statistics into a future version. What this would do is simply display in the ACP the number of people that are currently subscribed to each rss feed. Let me know what you think.
