well, obviously adsense and analytics will invite google because you are telling them the page is there... my question is, why would the google toolbar send traffic data to their servers if the site searched didn't come from a search on the google tool bar... say you don't have adsense or analytics,...

Alexa is not really reliable to compare sites, but it stil provides with infos about how is a site going.
