Re: zero duplicate and no duplicate

Perhaps both methods are actually identical in terms of seo? Any comments please?

zero duplicate and no duplicate

My understanding of the difference between the two is that it is subtle.

Which method is argubably better from a SEO point of view?

Re: Inconsistent links

When you synchronize your urls, it is done with the setting you're currently using. If you change your urls standard, you need to re-synchronized them, and if you want all your url to be reset, you need to empty the topic_url field using the same script. To fully deactivate SQL rewriting, you need ...

Re: phpbb3.0.5 and phpbb seo 0.60 problems

Did you try purging the cache?

Try deleting the .htaccess file via FTP and create a new one via the phpSEO tab and transfer it to the appropriate directory (either your root or the forum folder) via FTP again.

Also, try deleting your browser cache as well.

Re: Inconsistent links

Suppose that I don't want to enable SQL rewriting again. Can you please clarify what I need to do to undo the effects of having it originally turned on? I'm not too clear from what you are saying above?

Re: Inconsistent links

mm, that's pretty weird, but it could only be because you activated SQL rewriting, and synchronized your topic url before you made all your settings,if you do use SQL rewriting, try to use the sync_url.php to a) empty the topic_url field and b) resync it. ++ Yes I did actually activate SQL rewritin...

Re: Config problem : no title injected

Update, I started fresh, and have the mod working (kind of) and am not getting 404 errors any more. However, there are a few strange quirks that I'm getting but because I'm now using the Advanced mode, I'm going to start a new topic in the Advanced forum. See you there guys! Some interesting quirks ...

Re: Config problem : no title injected

3.0.5 of phpBB and 0.6.0 of your SEO mod. When I mouseover the actual links, they are correctly displaying in the status bar (i.e. the title looks to be injected correctly), but clicking on any link now gives a 404 error. I generate and save the .htaccess file for each change I make (and purge the c...

Re: Config problem : no title injected

Thanks but I changed to "advanced" and now I'm getting 404 errors for any of the forum links. I can't enter any of the forums on the test server. Any ideas?

Config problem : no title injected

Firstly, well done on a great mod, it is a great feature to add to phpBB. :D I'm having a few difficulties getting it configured to work the way I want to. The end result I would like to see is something similar to: http://www.mysite.com/forum/sub-forum/interesting-topic-title.html What I'm getting ...
