IM Portal rewrite

As I stated in a different post, I am looking for a way to use IM Portal's multiple portal page feature to create an "about" page, a "contact" page, etc. I think I even understand how to rewrite a specific URL for each portal page, or at least I have a start on it... RewriteRule ...

I understand what you mean about the ID #'s, and I see how you fixed the "links" and next time I'll do that. Sorry you had to go through all that and fix them. I should have known on an SEO site not to put 20 fake links.

rewrite portal pages

Here's one I bet you haven't come across (or maybe you have). I would like to rewrite portal pages like so: -www.mydomain.com/index.php to -www.mydomain.com/forum.html and -www.mydomain.com/index.php?c=$1 to -www.mydomain.com/{title injection}-c1.html (already done by adv mod rewrite) and -www.mydom...

No, I haven't. Unless you somehow got the AdSense code in between

Code: Select all
<a href=

and

</a>

I've done that before, though not with AdSense code.

That's a nifty add on. I know about that little patch and actually have it on a test forum. what would be really sweet, if this does actually help to make the link more "interesting" to Search engines, is to have it work with Today-Yesterday Relative Time MOD. YES, I agree! Alternatively,...

The only thing I don't like about putting it in the overall_footer is that few people scroll down that far. I prefer to put at the bottom of index_body (between the last forumrow table and who is online), and the bottom of viewforum and viewtopic above the pagination. If you're really dedicated, you...

I just looked at the page source. What do you have listed as the domain name in your general configuration options? Live Test Area? It should be http://www.reptilerescueleague.com, and your script path should be / All the links that are supposed to be pointing at http://www.reptilerescueleague.com/i...

Well, something is definitely goofy. Your phpBB logo doesn't link to your index like it should, either (by default). Maybe something in your overall_header? Like an anchor that didn't get properly closed, or maybe you're missing a quotation mark?

Link from Last Post Time w/Simple Subforums

My very first mod, ever. I'm not sure if anyone else has already come up with this. I've searched all over the 'net for it, and I can't seem to find it anywhere else, so I'm posting it here first. :) This mod is based on the same principle that A2K uses to link to the last post on index.php. This mo...

hmmm, dcz is the expert around here. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I also noticed that the {U_INDEX} appears to be a bit messed up. Instead of getting a clickable link, you get an insert cursor. I'm not sure what that's about. It may be related somehow.... http://www...

Weird. Two or three days ago, it showed up as #1, but it was my viewforum (f1) page. Yesterday it didn't show up at all, and today it's showing up again (at #2), but this time it's my index page. I guess if I want to keep a particular page on top, I have to regularly add content to that page?

conceptcrew,

I checked out your site, and I notice that as a guest I had a session ID. Did you remember to install CyberAlien's guest session mod?
