Modifying mail in profile deactivates the account. Maybe only when phpBB is configured with account mail activation.

Well, w<hen y type -http://bigskyfans.com/gallery/, i am redirected to -http://www.bigskyfans.com/gallery/ automatically, your method is fine, removing the "www." on "real" urls so to speak.

The code is ok, but you have to add the slash char after .com when typing your urls.

This works well, and rewrites :
bigskyfans.com/gallery

Hello, anti spam tools would be a better cure, since you try to fix the effect (posted links) not the cause (spam bots). A captcha system, or disabling website in profiles when registering work great (i prefer this, less code to mod, and it gave great results). Here's some code : http://www.phpbb.co...

Hello, it may sound stupid, but if you really added the code you quoted with no modification, it cannot work, you have to replace "example" by "hvacruniverse". :?
