Vars "missing" after 3.9 mixed upgrade

After a pre-mod upgrade to 3.09 (prosilver/ mixed-seo), several vars are not working.
Among others, these are not working:

navlinks.U_VIEW_FORUM
U_SEARCH_SELF
U_PROFILE

Help anyone?

We've managed to hard-code some of these, but some cannot be hard-coded.

Thanks much.

Re: Broken links within virtual folders

Did a 3.9 pre-mod a few weeks ago and just discovered this issue.

We use Prosilver -- NOT a non-Prosilver template as mentioned in this post.

A sample URL:
http://forums.site.com/3.9/U_PRIVATEMSGS

(There is no /3.9 folder)

Ideas anyone? Thanks.

Pretty URLs Gone . . .

We did a 3.06 to 3.09 pre-mod upgrade recently. All is well *except* our URLs are not re-writing. * Not sure if this was an "upgrade thing" or if it was an issue in the previous version. * In fact, I think I remember it working after the upgrade. I replaced the current .htaccess with the o...

Re: URLs broke after 3.0.5 pre-mod ...

can only do it on a per case basis if you are using the SQL rewriting option.

Please elaborate: 'per case basis'.
My SQL rewriting is 'on'.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Upgrade 3.0.5 > 3.0.6 -- no seo-friendly urls ...

But these are the default urls in mixed mode, you may just where using the advanced one, and if so you just need to switch in acp. 1. We were using Mixed mode prior to the upgrade. 2. We are using Mixed mode now, after the upgrade. 3. We are still using a Mixed mode .htaccess ? ? ? Please clarify y...
