.htaccess to work with easy portal

I'm having an issue with the .htaccess working with another mod, easy portal. It has to do with the .htaccess & I'm lost, because I know nothing about regular expressions. I want to have my forums in example.com/forums. I want to redirect people from example.com to example.com/forums. I can do t...

Re: Where to put Google Analytics code?

For anyone this happens to, simply do not open it inside your hosting editor, like the one at godaddy. I downloaded the file & was able to edit it. Then uploaded it.

Hey there. Can you explain to us what you are trying to do & maybe we can help? When I say explain, I mean are you trying to submit it to google or something along those lines?

Re: How to get rid of the SID in forum URL

LMAO. What an appropriate question! One last question tho. Where is the manual for the premod & all the mods in it? I just see a few threads (premod, advanced, simple, mixed, etc), but not one comprehensive manual. I've set up a local install & I would like my urls to look like , but can't ...

Re: How to get rid of the SID in forum URL

What is RTFM? Well don't you find that nice-keywords-you-can-choose-in-acp-fxx.html is a lot more SEO friendly than viewforum.php?f=xx ? The -fxx purpose is just to pass the forum ID to phpBB. But, if you want to go further into RTFM, you'll notice that there is a "remove forum id" option ...

Re: [HOW TO] Install the phpBB SEO premod on phpBB

So just to make sure I understand correctly, to install, I install a vanilla phpbb & then copy all files from the /root folder of premod & "OVERWRITE" all the old files of phpbb?
