Hey guys just wondered how i could insert a RSS feed into a forum post so for example if i wanted to add a RSS feed to this thread could i do that with the options provided by default?

Hi from what i was told over at the phpbb community forums is that i would be able to run the automatic updater package and that this would be able to handle the MODS that i have and the upgrade wouldn't disrupt the mods, is this true? OK thanks dcz, i am not sure what i am going to do yet. I may just do the edits on the files again manually although i am not sure that i can be bothered to do this every time a new addition of the forum is released. Also does anyone think i can manually upgrade the forum with file edits, if so where can i obtain the details of this from the phpbb forum?

Ahh shoot so i should perform the upgrade of the forum first then update all the mods i have installed, will this mean i will have to manually edit all files again?

What are the ramifications of not upgrading then and just keeping the forum as it is?

DAM this is going to take me absolutely ages considering i will have to do all the manual edits on the files!

Surely there is some easier way because i do not have to be doing this every time phpbb upgrades there software.

Hi just checked and i do not have a includes dir in my phpbb_seo folder on my server. Also i installed all the mods as standalone and haven't updated any of them the last 4 weeks or so from here. Please see this post Upgrading from phpbb 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 and assist me in what i need to do?
