Passing variable to the redirected url

Hi there, i've got a small problem here. A script im using generates the following link: forum/postXXXX.html?var=1 (or other values). Is there a way to analyze and pass that var correctly to the viewpost.php?p=blahblahblah&var=blhablahblah ? I'm really in need of that mod ... otherwise, what wou...

Cant change page in forums with cached name

Hello, dont know why but when i try to change "page" (page2 for example) in forums that have a cached name, phpbb returns to me and tells me "sorry the forum does not exist" ... I am clueless on what is happening ... Seems like he's not recognizing the -number part of the url ......

you're too kind ;) the portal im using is http://www.mkportal.it , but worry not, the problem was with the virtual folders more than the rest, and i sent you the fix on pm's. As soon as i've tested everything as i told ya, i'll post my fixes. Only stuff i cant really handle is making the portal boxe...

I did not explain myself properly, the portal is installed in /portal/ the phpbb is installed in /forum/ the problem is that the portal uses relative links. Solved. Since its a custom page i didnt initialize the seo class parameters.
Initializing those with forum name and topic id worked well and now append_sid returns the seo'ed url.
