Re: sitemapindex.xml or sitemapindex.xml.gz

none is better.

the content of the two files is the same.

the .gz is just ligther than the other one but you need to compress it and google need to uncompress it.

Re: sitemapindex.xml or sitemapindex.xml.gz

the sitemapindex.xml.gz is compressed so it's litghter than the sitemapindex.xml so you reduce your bandwich consumption but you will use tour server CPU for compressing the sitemap.

The crawlers can used both.

Re: What should i do when change style?

Hi,

When you download the mod, you should have a folder xml.
you should edit the templates files. All edits are written on the subsilver.xml file. ( /xml/subsilver2.xml )

Re: Problem with sitemapindex.xml style

hi,

the sitemap is for the bots, so if the style doesn't work, it's not a problem ...

in the APC > phpbb-seo > google sitemap >Styling

you should try differents settings and flush caching
